International Family Equality Day 2013

On May 5, 2013, Family Equality Council will be hosting its second annual International Family Equality Day

International Family Equality Day is a celebration of the global LGBT family community. Community events will be held in more than 40 locations around the world, including: the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, and Australia! Chicago Children’s Museum is honored to serve as the Chicago host site for International Family Equality Day.

CCM believes that all families have the right to play and learn regardless of their family structure. We live this commitment every day through our All Families Matter initiative, designed to welcome and engage families in the LGBT community.  We are lucky to have the opportunity to partner with Family Equality Council and look forward to celebrating all of Chicago’s amazing families during International Family Equality Day.

  1. Michael A. Buck says:

I will never patronize your establishment……ever. You are promoting the gradual destruction of the family, our culture and our civilization. It’s always easier to be “hip” and jump on the bandwagon of the latest crackpot idea, rather than think out the consequences of raising a generation of children in a “polymorphous” environment. What’s more, by “celebrating” this concept, you intentionally dragoon the rest of us into supporting it even if we find it reprehensible. There are other children’s museums to go to.
